Marine Grease for Truck

Hi,

Just used Mag1 Multi-Purpose Marine Grease on the grease points on my Chevy pickup. After I had it done I read the label, which it said not to mix with other greases. Should it be ok for me to use this grease on the ball joints and other points in my pickup? Also will this marine grease protect as good as regular grease?

Also read that NLGI 2 GREASE IS SPECIFIED.

It's lithium base so you are probably fine.
