Is Wix/Napa Gold 1334 correct for new Sonata 2.4?

Is Wix/Napa Gold 1334 the correct oil filter for my new 2008 Sonata 2.4L 4 cylinder?

The clerk couldn't confirm because the database hasn't been updated past the '06 model year.

1334 is still used by Hyundai for most of its models and was used on the old 2.4L block. I just want to confirm that it is still the same filter for the new World Engine 2.4L.

hyundai only has 2 oil filters, cartridge (for the new 3.3l and 3.8l) and the spin on which fits every other hyundai since the beginning.

isn't the 1334 filter good for many honda's too?

Indeed, 1334 was the filter used on most Hondas 'til a few years ago.

Hyundai has also been using this same filter on most of it's models since the beginning but the Wix/Napa Gold database is incomplete or misleading as regard to the new 4 cylinder engine in the 06+ Sonata, which is not 2351cc (that was the old iron block version of the previous generation) but 2359cc.

Purolator's website appears up to date and X-references the 14459 so i'm 99% sure that the Napa Gold 1334 is the correct filter for my application but just wanted to confirm.

I might try to send Wix/Napa Gold an e-mail if possible.
