Is Valvoline products any good?

I purchased a bottle of Valvoline Complete Fuel System Treatment a month ago, I was told only Chevron and Shell products work. Anyone know if this Valvoline stuff is any good? Thanks all.

Redline SI-1 and Amsoil PI work very well, maybe better than off the shelf techron or synpower tx
