Is it safe to assume you don't do your own mechanical repairs??

MAX series? Where are the DeWalt lawyers?? I thought DeWalt had obtained the trademark on their 12V MAX tools. Are the both companies part of the same conglomerate?

Mike, you need this to reinstall the parts that you took out with your other impact!

I do a lot but not everything. This was my Dad's thought also. I have a lot of tools, and will always grab a 1/2" down to the smallest one in the set, then go to the 1/4" set or maybe a nutdriver, depends.

I think you'll love it. I have the newer style snap-on 3/8" 14.4v cordless and just love it. The thing is so handy and really packs a punch. I think the torque might be in the 150 ft. lb. range, but it still really has some zip. That extra power that the IR has would be great.
