Have a mid 90's Woods in good shape that was just given to me. It states on the tank to use Mobil DTE-26. Well I cannot find it locally. What are some other brands that I can safely use. Thanks.

You want a tractor hydraulic fluid. Something that meets John Deere J20C or Kubota UDT. There are several Universal Tractor Fluids on the market that will work. Whatever I purchase for my tractor goes in my zero turn as well.

Mobile DTE-26 is still available if that is what you prefer to use.

Allot of specs for older equipment can be obsolete and a newer product is preferable.

Mobil DTE 26 is ISO 68 hydraulic fluid. Any of the major brands in that viscosity should be fine.

FWIW, Grainger & McMaster both sell Mobil products as do thousands of their distributors. Call around, you may be able to find a 5 gallon pail fairly easily.
