How do you pronounce KUMHO

When I say I need 4 Koom-Hoe 4X, America's Tire rep said "What ?" then he asked "Do you want Koo-Moe 4X ?".

It's a little embarrassing to wrongly pronounce a fairly popular tire.

Is Kumho a Korean word for "short tread life"?
That was my experience with the one set I had.
Satisfactory tires otherwise and they were pretty cheap.

My next-door-neighbor is a 70ish Dutchman who told me what KLM stood for .... I thought he was having a stuttering spasm.

The Koreans pronounce Ks like we pronounce Gs. So the proper way to say it would be Gum(with a soft G)-hoe.

Watch the Gangnam Style video for a hint.
