The 4Health grain free from Tractor Supply is made by Ainsworth. I think it's the same stuff as the Rachel Ray grain free. The price is reasonable for a grain free kibble.

Thanks all for the tips and advice.

We went to Tractor Supply last night and I think my wife likes the salmon 4Health. She's read a lot of reviews on it; folks talk about how coats look shinier and fuller, and allergies seem better with this food. Our boy is affected quite a bit by what seems to be seasonal allergies. He takes a daily dose of Benadryl and Medrol as prescribed by the vet, but that just barely manages it. Maybe this food will help him out.

I think we'll look to make the dry kibble his primary food, and if he doesn't take to it, maybe use a little bit of ground beef and/or beef stock poured over the top as an enticer to get him to eat it.

For my Border Collies, Iams Lamb and Rice.

As they eat almost anything we give them table scraps as well.

And twice a month I give them Pasta with olive oil and garlic and that keeps their coats looking great.

They also love raw vegetables, So when we have garden scraps they get some.
