I just bought this at HF because I did not have one with all the features this one has. It was $39.95, but seems to be able to measure just about anything.

Now I can put one of my smaller/older DVM in my Jeep and another in my boat.

I wish it had a case. But it does have a soft rubber enclosure around the plastic case.

I'm sure its really neat having a DVM, but for us older members just what in the world is a DVM?

Did a search under Harbor Freight and they didn't even know they carried it.

Not all of use understand all these abbreviations.

I don't know why you'd want to carry a Veterinarian with you, but hey if you can pick one up cheap.....

[really, what's a DVM?]

Given that I can retire in less than 10 years I am one of the "older members" I would assume. DVM=digital volt meter. Normally it can measure resistance also. My first DVM was a AC plug-in Heathkit one with nixie tubes for the display. I might even have it somewhere.

I think I have 4 DVMs now, one has a clamp on ammeter, which is handy at times.

This latest one from HF can measure capacitance. This is my first meter that can do that. Using it to check the starting capacitor for the well pump.

Digital volt meter, as soon as I sae that I thought of Multimeter.

I see Harbor Freight calls them Digital Multimeter.
