First 727 to fly once more...

Being I'm partial to the 727 (first jet job) it's nice to see them restored and kept in a museum. They were a great aircraft and very reliable. I was lucky to have flown both the 100 and 200 series for the short 4 years before I went to Airbus A320-A330. I flew the 100's (ex Eastern Airlines) for FedEx Canada that had upwards of 83000 hrs and were retired with over 90000 hrs of reliable service, most if not all were turned into pop cans and were replaced with 757-200. The 727-200's I flew were the (ex Continental Airlines) for Qatar Airways. Both the 100 and 200 flew like a dream and 18 years later I still miss it. If I'm not mistaken I believe the Fedex 727-100 I flew were better than 98% dispatch reliable, so you really can't beat that:)
