Ever had an encounter with an Incubus or Succubus?

Yea I have real troubles with supposed ghost that move things or make funny noises in the night. A real spirit/ghost doesn't need to move canned goods around, doesn't need to lurch around the attic or basement in the middle of the night, or turn lights on and off in unoccupied rooms, etc - all the typical [censored] parlor trick stuff that imaginary ghosts spend their time and energy doing.

Interesting reading these posts.

I could never figure out why the so called fortune tellers and the like could not once pick the correct Powerball numbers..hmmmm

No, I don't have any kind of recording. I wish I did, truly.

But it doesn't bother me that you think I'm telling a lie. When all of this started happening, we were hesitant to share our experiences with anyone for fear they would react as you have. We figured others would either think we were crazy, seeking attention or just outright lying. But then some friends saw a few things, so we had witnesses.

Even so, others firmly believed we were making all this stuff up, so you get used to being called a liar, (or crazy, or delusional or any number of names and labels).

I'm a rational guy. I spent months trying to figure this thing out. Was somebody trying to play a trick on us or having fun with us? Was there some kind of "hidden" way into the house, (i.e. crawl space access to the house via the food pantry)? No there was not, and I made sure there was none.

On occasion, I drink a little beer, sometimes a shot or two of Johnny Walker. But I've never used any mind altering substances of any kind.

I know what I know and saw what I saw as did my wife and a few friends.

Interestingly, after we moved out, (it was a rental house), a lady and her son moved in after us. Months later, I ran into one of my old neighbors at the grocery store. We chatted and he told me the lady who moved in after us stayed there for one week and suddenly moved out. I'm pretty sure I know why.

No psychic or Medium has pre-conceived numerical abilities, or other abilities that create physical dominance. We have a gift passed from a higher source that controls the universe and those in it. Balance in the controlled world is a neccessity and allowing a million psychics / mediums the ability to physically own the earth creates non-balance and so it is strictly forbidden.

There are always skeptics that will not accept what ie past their own perception, or ability. One even surfaced in this thread.

No, religion, superstition and ignorance said the world was flat. Science proved them wrong starting with Erotosthenes over 2,000 years ago . Science doesn't deal in absolutes. Never has. Never will.

I will never for the life of me understand why, instead of relying on the best and only consistent method for explaining reality (science), people embrace one that has never ever been correct about anything. Ever. (religion, superstition, psychics, meta-physical woo) .

Saying that I/you/science can't explain it therefore spirits/ghosts/goblins is actually a contradiction. You're essentially saying "I can't explain it, therefore I can explain it."

What is it with you Coloradoans and believing that you know it all?

God is real... You spin that, any way you like!

.. I will check out this "the world is flat" business.

a coffee and 'prone in the morning. doesn't get any better than that.

I wasn't aware that "Coloradoans" were considered "know it all" types.

of which deity do you speak? there are several. rhetorical question, since religion is verboten.

obviously, you were unaware that the world was considered flat, many centuries back. this is common knowledge to any grade 5 school kid in a history class.

thanks for my morning laugh.i feel guilty that I'm not paying you a cover charge for your pearls of wisdom. keep 'em coming. have a good day.

I hated that dream.

YES!!! I've had one very similar. That I somehow forgot my course load and there was a class I only attended a couple of times and then had to do the exam for and knew I was going to fail it but I would try as hard as I could, not knowing the subject AT ALL. The bewilderment, frustration, helplessness and guilt that go with it are incredible. The other problem was finding the room as I couldn't remember where the class was being held and I'm running around the facility trying to locate the classroom, which, comically, always seemed to resemble a highschool I only attended for one year but is older than Canada.

I've had similar dreams. I forgot about the class, then I showed up for test week. Or I found the room after a frantic search, and the test was over. Or I was given the test paper and I couldn't see.

I forgot to mention that had (hypothetical)one million psychics / mediums knew what the next Powerball or Mega Millions six digit numbers were, or had these same one million known what numbers to play at our nations major casinos, then the lotteries across the USA and all of Las Vegas, would cease to be in business today. They would have all wagered into bankruptcy, soon after opening.

So hence, God created Balance in society and God maintained we have that free will to make our own decisions such as gamble, as we desire. We have the right to choose our current and future destinies.

Ever hear of Occam's Razor? Basically if you boil it all down, the simplest answer is that it's all a sham. The problem with your conclusions is that it relies on the fact that there is free will and that there is balance. If it's all a sham, then it doesn't matter if there's free will or not or balance.

You speak in absolutes, yet you are presenting your own personal beliefs. You do not have proof or evidence that you could present to a third party.

We could go on and on about that lack of evidence, but that is OT and not allowed here.

You believe what you want to believe and I'll stick to what we believe; that is based on facts, theories, and science (as we understand it today).

No. I'm sure I dream but I rarely remember them. I also don't have (to my knowledge) bad dreams like your "encounter". My entire life I've been blessed with good sleep-I fall asleep about 10 minutes after I put my book away, sleep 7 solid hours, and then awaken. I've always maintained a proper sleep routine.

But then, I also don't believe in ghosts, spirits, demons, psychics & mediums (other than the obvious scam artists), aliens, devils and angels on one's shoulders, etc. I view all of them as the domain of the weak-minded.

Nicely succinct and well stated. I only have one exception to your assertion and I'm not sure you meant it like this - aliens...there are surely many thousands and perhaps millions of other intelligent life forms (aliens) scattered across the universe. Do they come visit Earth and randomly abduct folks? No. Unimaginable distances and scale of the universe likely serve to keep us permanently isolated which is likely a good thing.

That's funny. Proof is the relative or friend of a spirit, where I spoke of events that I never had any business knowing. When one can tell someone their 'private' past, that's pretty good proof.

Also, facts and science cannot physically take hold of the spirit realm. Theories??.... sure, there are millions of theories on what a medium envisions, feels and hears.

The problem lies in-that the non-believer has never experienced supernatural events. I was the same way until my thirties. I am currently 63 years-old.

People hear what they want to hear and some people are good at reading others. How come they've never done any scientific study on mediums? See what their success rate is with 1000 people. If you guess, even if you're right 1% of the time, those 10 people will think you're amazing and the other 990 will think you're a fraud. Scientific method is repeatable, reproducible results.

Also statements like fact/science can't take hold of the spirit world. How do you actually know that? Are you a scientist? How do you actually prove a negative?

You may have experienced certain events that you couldn't explain, but you're jumping to conclusions by declaring them supernatural.

You should study logic. Basically your conclusions aren't valid because none of your premises can be shown to be true.

For instance: Only mediums can tell someone of their private past. Therefore if someone tells me about my private past, then mediums exist. The fallacy is that you have to be a medium to tell of someone's private past. There are other ways also. Therefore your entire logic for why mediums exist doesn't work.

I heard Joseph (MalfunctionProne/technologs/GearheadTool) has had many encounters with a Squashubus. Many similar symptoms - paralysis, can't breathe and the feeling of a heavy weight on the chest.

Yes, Carnoobie did as well. Except it was a Mooseubus.

No, just Mr. Ghost. He was a faintly glowing green thing, almost like a glow-in-the-dark shadow. He "lived" in the space between where my bedroom door opened against the wall. I don't know what he was, but he sure wasn't the spirit of a dead human. I was never afraid of him or felt as though he meant me any kind of harm.
