Do you use a FilterMag?

I bought one of these from Summit Racing for ~$50 about a year ago. Its a strong magnet, but I have never cut apart my filter to see if it really works. I run it on a 2001 Chevy Tahoe with the 5.3L and fully synthetic oil.

I'm curious if any of you guys use a FilterMag and if you think it works. I just bought the wife a 2007 Nissan Quest and was considering buying one for that filter.

Just put filtermag into the search engine for stuff older than 1 week and newer than 1 year. Check the whole forum. A decent number of hits.
