I plan to use it in an 09 BMW X5 35d and an 09 Jetta TDI
It has 1.0% ash, 800ppm P, 0.3% S (the latter 2 considerably less than CJ4, and same as C3) and a TBN of 12.6. It is a "heavy" 30 with a 100C. viscosity of 12.2
As I mentioned previously, in the X5 in a normal computer directed OCI of 11600mi with the dealer oil (Castrol SLX OE Professional 5W30) I got a TBN of 1.5 and TAN 4.83. This should cure that and allow perhaps 15-18K OCIs; at the cost of 25% faster DPF ash-up.
Don't ask me how much it costs, shipped by TNT. Good thing the pound is down to $1.44
