Will a standard coolant analysis detect salt water?

The engine is a boat engine with closed cooling. A leak in the heat exchanger could introduce salt water into the cooling system.

I have a unused WIX cooling analysis sitting on the shelf.

I would have thought a pool test kit Chloride test would be cheaper, easier and just as accurate.
The Chloride levels of salt water are pretty consistent unless you are boating in the dead sea.
