D DannyM Joined Nov 17, 2022 Messages 291 Sep 14, 2023 #2 . I thought all the XL's had steel end caps but should have an E-Core... I bought a few different versions of the XL recently for different cars and they all had an E-Core , and all the XL's I have seen cut open had steel end caps.
