Carquest "RED" #R84045, 7,500 miles CUT OPEN

Hello again and this Carquest RED filter was off one of the drivers 2013 Explorer with 60,xxx on vehicle. Oil was Valvoline MaxLife full syn and this filter. I put MaxLife blend 5w20 and a Tough Guard on and in. Enjoy the photos and questions ask. Date code is A52413 also

I honestly think it may be residue or.... They wouldn't budge a inch

I think that is a Fram made Carquest filter. Good to know those are not tears.

It was me-I was a little worried, I have a couple CQ Reds to use on my 6.2, the picture of the seam adjacent pleats didn't look quite right. Otherwise, it looked great.

Another one cut up with precision. This Carquest filter looks pretty doggone all right. For $3.69 a pop for my car this is an all right option for 7k. Thanks again Car51 for another c and p.
