Just curious about whether or not any small plane owners have relocated batteries due to the vibration issue. Do you know?

I'd like to answer a question posted earlier about date codes.

Most batteries have date codes with a letter/number.
such as: C5 or H8
SO C would be March, the 5 would be 2015 (or 2005). But use common sense and looking at the condition it would be more than likely a 2015. the H8 would be 8 (August) of 2008.
This is the month/yr of manufacture.
Some mfgr's are nice and put like JAN-12 making it easier.

AC Delco uses a code: LIKE P059K
the P and K are country of manufacture, typically mexico or Korea.
the 059 equates to June 2009.
I get AC Delco batteries posted dated 2-3 months ahead (due to shipping times from overseas).
Every AC Delco branded battery I've seen, even the factory black label use this scheme.
I believe Optima uses the same scheme in their serial #'s. the first 3 numbers of the engraved number is the month/yr, same scheme as AC Delco uses.
