I think he's referring to the "extended" spec's or test results. Holding capacity .....PSID @ flow @ visc ..etc.

If you check the spec chart you'll see the threads are diff.

Darn I wish they made a bigger oil filter than the 11 for my G35, like Wix does.

G35???? it doesn't use an EA011, does it?

Nissans use 20mm threads. Try rechecking your G35 application. The 11 is for Ford mod motors.

Whoops, you are right it takes the EaO12, so I can use the EaO13 with no problems right?

Break out the tape measure. On some Nissans, +2 or +3 oversized will fit.

Why settle for a 13 when there might be room for something bigger? 20 or 36!
