Still perfecting how to take good pictures without getting oil on my phone. They definitely aren’t to the standards others have set here but I tried my best lol.

Out of my Prius Prime 2018 10022KM and 10.5 months on the filter. However it being a PHEV it’s hard to judge how many KM actually ran on the oil and filter. I’d wager less than 6000KM. Was happy not to see an over usage of glue!

It was Amsoil SS 0w-20 and that filter out, and Castrol Edge EP 0W-20 and a Toyota OEM 90915-YZZN1. Gotta say though probably placebo and no slight to Amsoil, as I still have purchased more of their Oil and it's on deck. However that lil 1.8L 2ZR-FXE sure sounds like it likes this oil... seems quieter to my untrained ear.

a fram endurance in a fram titanium can. the amsoil EA lineup is the same filter as a fram endurance.

Thanks! It just looked like the oil had an Orangish/Red color.

Oddly enough I noticed that when I drained it... it had a strange red hue to it... was wondering if it cleaned up some varnish, from lack of use, or created some, from lack of use lol. I sent a sample off for analysis. But yes I did notice it. But the engine still sounds fine, and not like I am going to get the endoscope out...

You've proven that my last remaining good eye is still working. I'm happy to hear you've seen what I saw. I was wondering if you did a UOA...Sweet! Will wait for that post.
