Hi. The factory is the 90 Amp Denso. I cannot find a factory part. The only new ones I have found are made in China. I have found 2 that I am interested in. 1 is a 90 Amp remanufactured Denso with a 1 yr warranty and the 2nd is a Bosch 117 Amp remanufactured as well but with a 2 year warranty. What do you all say? Any other recommendations? Thank you!

Local rebuild shop. Look on RA. Bosch would be preferred over a no name Chinese one.

I too would go with a local rebuild shop. This is who I use, they’re local to me but they do ship as well. They didn’t rebuild my alternator and starter but they exchanged them for ones they actually do rebuild, and took my cores. Did my old Camry’s alternator too.

Just read about this on a Jeep forum yesterday. Will be looking into this more!
It will have an extra bracket, but it shouldn’t be an issue.
Some cut it off, but it’s not necessary. Voids the warranty too.
