Adding ESTER to oil

What will it do to the oil ? What will ESTER do?

I read from some Nissan Forums that they recommend adding ESTER to the oil for their 370z . Where can one find ESTER additives

Rather than messing with the oil chemistry of your current fill, why not just switch to Redline oils?

There are oils based in part on group V esters, like redline. That would be the best bet.
