Sorry Guys, i know this question must have been asked a thousand time before, so please bear with me.

Tommorrow i will be buying a OBD2 scantool, but i dont know what to get , i am looking into the Actron 9175 and the Innova/Equus 2330 i think, in your opinion and experience, whats the bettter tool? I am not a pro just need it for my own personal use on my vehicles at home.

Thanks for your time.

I've been happy with my Equus 3140 that I picked up for $60 from someone.

Remember that most scan tools under $500 lack bi-directional control-- they're essentially code readers that may display some live data.

Thanks, Guys, I picked up the Actron 9180, Advaced auto had it on sale for $160, seem a little complicated , the manual is about the size of a medium size novel, but i am getting the hang of it.

Today i scanned my Wife's RAV4, great to use .

Thanks

You're only supposed to use them on vehicles!

DIM, A Rav4 is a Small Toyota SUV, its a Vehicle.

Somehow something tells me that you knew that! LOL
