AC Delco PF454 to motorcraft oil filter part #

Sorry I have to make 2 topic, look like no one answer this question on my other thread, I really need this motorcraft part number ASAP.

I can't tell you since the MotorCraft site

doesn't have the interchange utility working yet.

According to the Fram site, there is no MotorCraft x'ref. If you put your PF454 into their interchange utility

you get a PH8873. If you click on the number, it will open another page listing all of the competitor x'references. MotorCraft is not there.


While it may exist, I have yet to see a 13/16-16 thread MC filter


Edit: The Ford/MC interchange utility is working (now) and doe not recognize that filter number. It does not recognize the Fram number either ..nor the WIX 57099/51061/or any other 13/16-16 thread filter number that I can pull out of my behind.

how about 51060 wix or napa gold 1060 ( these is larger side filter for this car, im using 51060 or 1060 napa for for quiet some time now, and recently using mobil 1 M1-302 ). I really need this motorcraft filter that cross over any of those part I list above.

I am not sure the fl12 will fit just because of length but it looks like the threads and diam are the same . 4.3 height vs 5.2 so almost an inch taller for the fl12.

You have got to tell me why? I assure you this will not be a commonly stocked MC number ..just about anywhere. What makes you "have" to have this filter in MC?

What about them? The FoMoCo/MotorCraft interchange utility doesn't recognize any 13/16-16 thread filter number. When you put in FL12a you get the FL12a and you can see that it's a 13/16-16 filter, but it recognizes not one other man's filter number.


What I'm asking is what gives the MC filter such distinction in your view? I mean, it's a great filter @ $3.65 at Wally's ..but when you get too far out of that price range, you kinda have options up or down that might appear better.

I just went back to Fram and put FL12a into their parts interchange.

PH13/PH5 both xref to FL12/FL12A/FL12FP

The only time I'd expect a MotorCraft (Ford) filter to fit a GM product is if that filter size also goes on some Ford product. Frankly, I wouldn't be expecting Ford to make filters in sizes that fit GM, or any other non-Ford brands, unless of course, those sizes overlap with one of Ford's brands' products.

Wow I thought this thread was about this oil and it appears to instead be about Motorcraft oil filters. LOL
