My ex 1990 F150 with a 5.0l 302 (auto) is still doing well at over 200k miles (I think he has about 215k on it now) and all it sees is Valvoline 10w-30 AC with 5w-30 during the winter.
Excellent oil and with exception of using QS or Halvoline here or there, I'd use really any conventional oil out there.
5w-30 GTX is a excellent oil that still had a TBN of 4.4 after 5,800 miles in a 4 cyl timing chain DOHC motor.
With your 302, no worries... At all!
