2006 Tacoma Ball Joints

06 Tacoma V6 2wd with 180k, ball joint is creaking, what brand is good to go with, Moog is what I had in mind but from what i'm reading I might try something else

If you can afford to stay with OE that is the way I would go especially if you use the vehicle aggressively and you want to keep it long time.

This. If not OEM then Sankei 555 is the only aftermarket brand I trust.

But I have used all new Detroit Axle control arms and ball joints on a 2009 Tacoma 2.7L. Truck has been sold, but current owner still rides on those, still no issues. They were installed 4+ years ago.

My son and I rebuilt the suspension on the front of his 05 Sequoia, We used all OEM. Find an on-line toyota supplier that discounts. Some of the stuff was cheaper than aftermarket. There is a lot of junk out there, I call them legal counterfeit.

I put American made moog greasable in our fj 4+ years ago. Still doing fine on our dirt roads. I do grease them often.

OE or Sankei 555 is the answer. Moog is now trash
