I'm wondering what I should run in my Civic? It has 23,000 miles and is ran spring summer and fall and a few times over winter but no more than 500 miles. In the past I have ran one fill of amsoil 5w30 and 2 GC 0w30. All have been changed around 7000 miles. I too have had consistent oil consumption of about a quart every 5000 miles, which I guess the k20z3 is known for.
I considered just running GC 0w30 since I always get it for cheap when auto zone has it on special with a filter, but ive read M1 0w40 is a really good oil and may suit the k20 engine well.
For further reference my car is lightly modded, and is driven relatively hard, most [censored] occurring around 4000 rpm and has been reflashed and now has a 8600 redline which is explored maybe 6-7 times a week.

See your other thread.

Plenty of good recommendations in there.

Or search.

Beaten to death.

Wait, ALL of these "what oil" threads are beaten to death, I guess...

Time to find a new forum.
