Good Afternoon Board,

This is off my 2001 Valkyrie, had the filter on the bike for almost 2 years, but only 500-600 miles on it.

The can is .035".

Again, a well built oil filter.

Also the anti-drain back valve was really pliable; no hardness or wear apparent. I’m not certain if it’s a silicone or nitrile?

Black rubber used for ADBVs will typically be nitrile. Got a lighter or matches?

I imagine same filter went back on. What oil went back in? Thank You

I've used these in the past with zero issues. Half the price of OEM is attractive too. However, due to the location of the oil filter on the Goldwing (behind the front wheel, and offset to one side), I need to run something on it with a thicker can.

Have you considered the K&N oil filter, the can seems heavy duty.

I did the test, the ADBV on the HiFlo was Black Nitrile, smoke was black and smelly.:)
