There were some interesting points they discussed about the testing and design they must do for the engine to be able to withstand the Start/Stop technology. The number of start/stop tests they do >200,000 (if I remember correctly) for engine with start/stop vs 10,000 for a normal engine was amazing. They also make some points about when they designed this engine they also consider it will go into additional vehicles, not just the F150.
