0w-20 oil at Kia dealer vs M1/PUP

Please name the dealership and person at the dealership that quoted you "around $20"?
One can no longer get semi-syns or conventional oil at the Kia dealerships. Your new fresh oil has to be full synthetic. This was a mandate handed down by Kia Inc - to all new vehicle dealerships, almost one year ago.
I have no idea why the fact it's $20 is ruffling so many feathers. Probably 2/3 of dealers in my area offer free oil changes for 1-3 years when you purchase a new vehicle.

Oil changes at dealerships are often a loss leader. That, and the oil they buy in those 55 gallon drums is inexpensive.

My father had his Kia forte serviced at the local dealer, service manager told him they buy bulk non turbo vehicles got 5w20 and turbo saw 5w30 we are in South Carolina and they don’t see need for 0w.
I’m in Fort Mill, SC. Basically Charlotte. All the Kia dealerships here use bulk ConocoPhillips. 5W-20 or 5W-30. 30 weight is for the turbos.
