Which of these for a 2014 6.0l vortec?

7 replies and not a single one answers the question asked. I asked which one fits that engine. Maybe I’ll start another thread asking for opinions and everyone can spend their time there instead.

Which of these for a 2014 6.0l vortec?

There's four different options here for plugs and wires. Which would I get for a 2014 6.0L vortec in a 2500HD? Also what's better the platinum or iridium? Truck won't be driven a lot but I want it to purr when it does :-)...

Is there an oil that's better for long time based changes?

What’s the real point here? Must I assume that means that every single vet was deployed and came home to a perfectly fine vehicle? None of them suffered any issues at all?

Is there an oil that's better for long time based changes?

I don’t understand how starting an engine is bad…. But I’m not putting anything in storage it’s just in the winter I don’t spend as much time at the bay home.

Well we do say the worst thing you can do for a motor is let it sit.

Is there an oil that's better for long time based changes?

I bought a 2014 Silverado 2500HD 6.0l gasser with 225k miles that runs great and basically is there just to tow trailers around. Probably won't do 1k a year in miles.

Wanted to get your thoughts on using this for gas?

I'm not on a lake. On the coast with a bay home. Nearest marina is about 10 miles away and is $1.50/gal more expensive.

Wanted to get your thoughts on using this for gas?

It's 125 Gal or so. I have an old boat that holds 150 gallons and my dads boat holds 35gal. Each time we run them we have to take them out and trailer them to the store. I'd rather just be able to pull up and fill them up and keep the weekend going.

What is the real difference between these two tanks?

Ok is this just a legality thing due to a label or is there a mechanical or build material reason why the one labeled for gas is $500 more? I'm wanting a tank for the back bed of a single cab 2500HD for ranch use. What's the real world difference here? $1199 116 gal $1699 116 gal

    6.0 Silverado HD Health Check

What other oils did you try before HPL? $17 a quart is pretty spicy. I just picked up a 2014 2500HD 6.0l with 225k and going QS High Mileage full synthetic. Under $4/qt. But I can't really tell you why I just really wound up liking QS products. I'm pretty sure oil is one of those things none...

Best fuel additive for a sitting vehicle?

I just purchased a 2014 Chevy 2500HD with 6.0l vortec. It has 225k miles but runs pretty darn good. It's at my family bay home it's mainly for towing boats and other trailers and using as a light work truck. While it runs pretty solid it sounds like it could be slightly better. I'm going to...

    2014 6.0l 2500HD with 225k miles

So far everything seems good. No leaks. Drives good, shifts smooth. I went ahead and bought it. $8700 for a single cab 4x4 WT with 4.10 gears. Seat is a little torn up but still comfortable. I probably won’t put 1k miles a year on it. It’s for a bay home where family and I go. Wanted something...
