    KYB Excel-G shocks/struts - diff from GR-2?

Put a set of KYB quick struts all around on 2003 Honda Accord, these are VERY stiff, much stiffer then the OEM (only replaced as at 200,000 miles two OEM were leaking oil) and very unpleasant, after 20,000 miles still way too stiff, labeled "assembled in USA", a set I bought 5 year ago for a...

    General Altimax RT43

I have bought 3 sets of General RT43 tires and have had very good luck with them on a 2005 Buick Century, 2007 Chevy Impala, 2017 Acura MDX Hybrid, great wet and dry traction, decent snow traction, no balance problems and quiet on the road. Good tire for the $$ and decent performance.

    Oil and Filter Advice

Fram Ultra Synthetic oil filter, PP 0W20, use it in my 2017 MDX Hybrid, no oil usage in 10,000 mile changes, which come at 10% left on oil life monitor, oil analysis shows even more life left with TBN still 2.4, Honda V6 engines are pretty bulletproof, the one in my Accord has 220,000 miles and...

TPMS light on after Discount Tire install

VW and Audi don't use TPMS sensors, they count wheel revolutions and detect low tire by that method, that is what is on my 2014 Audi

Who here has ridden in a P-51?

Bought a 30 minute ride 20 years ago for $250, no rides available at Oshkosh generally, best bet is a CAF event but it isn't cheap.

What can I add to oil to help keep Volvo Turbo?

I have over 300,000 miles on Audi A4 with Turbo, only used full synthetic, Mobil 1 0W40, German Castrol 0W30 and Pennzoil Euro 5W40, uses no oil in 7500 to 10,000 mile intervals, no problem with Turbo. If you run it hard let it idle for minute before shutdown. No additives needed. A6 TDI turbo...

Golf VII TSI / Turbo worn out at 60 000km

My 2002 Audi A4 1.8T has 282,000 miles, no engine parts have been replaced, turbo is just fine, 7500 mile oil changes with 502 oils, Mobil 1, GC 0-30 and now PU 5-40 Euro. Less then 1/2 quart between changes, Audi/VW still makes good products if you take care of them. original CV joints, etc.

I have 6000 miles on a set of these (2002 Audi A4), really like them, good wet and dry, wear reports from TR seem good, very smooth and quiet tire, don't seem to wear fast like the P6 set I had years ago

QSUD or Havoline Synthetic for Honda 3.5?

I run PP in a 2003 V6 Honda, last OCI was 10,000, TBN was still 2.2, hardly hard on oil maybe the older V6 engines were easier due to no cylinder deactivation??

    Honda Engine Oil choice

I believe that 5W20 is also approved for the Honda, I routinely run 10,000 OCI with PP 5W20 in both a 4 cylinder 2006 CRV and a 2003 V6 Accord with no issues on the analysis. I previously also ran Mobil 1 0W20 with the same wear metal levels at 10K intervals, all were well below Blackstone's...

    Old Honda PS Prolems

I have a 2003 Accord and the Honda fluid was still flowing fine when it was 2 degrees when I checked it a week ago. Should not be like pudding. My car has 258,000 and no issues, change the fluid every 50,000, pull the hose and pump it out.

What oil should I use? 2003 Honda Accord

I would use PP either 5W20 or with your climate 5W30,should be good for 5000 miles in your cycle, 10,000 miles if fewer short trips. PU would also be a great oil for this engine.
