Yes. the OLM indicates 10k intervals and FCA says 7500 for B20 use. I don't use B20 but still do changes at that schedule.

    '15 Ecodiesel, Pennzoil Ultra Euro L 5W30, 8,330mi

Hey guys and gals, It's been a while since I've been around. I've been enjoying our new truck (well, at least it was new, now it has almost 26k on it!) since last year. As with most of my vehicles, I decided to send in for a UOA on it. I'm a little concerned about the aluminum and iron. What do...

"BMW" Transmission Fluid in GM 6L45R, '09 328i

This was the factory fluid. Around 100k I plan to do another drain and fill. I don't plan on changing the filter until the car has 200k.

"BMW" Transmission Fluid in GM 6L45R, '09 328i

I was starting to have what felt like jerky/rough shifts in my Bimmer, so I read up on how to change the fluid (easier and less costly than a ZF-equipped unit!). When I dropped the pan, there was a [censored] of metal in the bottom of the pan and the magnet was pretty well coated. I also changed...

My only guess is fuel dilution/heat from turbo's. I've never seen in BMW literature exactly why it changed.

Here it is! After finally having gall and patience to wait long enough to get an extended run interval, I have the results I expected and many have been saying for a while: BMW intervals are too long (and further cementing in my mind the reason why they altered late model recommendations). I...

Given that this is my wife's car and she doesn't treat it that well (is dirty most of the time, inside and out), I don't use any name brand lubricants on it and only perform the factory-recommended maintenance (at 7.5k intervals). I can certainly say that I'm pleasantly surprised by this UOA of...

Honda 5w-20, 9000 mi, 09 Honda Fit Sport

I'm telling you, a lot of Honda engines are showing "higher" silicon levels that people are expecting. My former Fit, CR-V, Pilot, Accord, and Civic all had high silicon. I checked and rechecked the sealing of the intake system and replaced with new OE filters and still got high wear levels. I...

Yep, that pesky silicon is high AGAIN! I've mentioned several times that I've had problems with silicon running high in all of my late model Honda's, going all the way back to my 08 R18 Civic. I've checked and rechecked the intake tubing and used map gas to check for leaks. When this oil was put...
