    Havoline Pro DS Synthetic

Used this on my truck and the wife's car last change. As long as they keep throwing decent deals out (Orielly's for me), I'll continue using it. Also, received my rebate cards within 3 weeks.

This is going to be a stupid question, here goes

Nope, over time you may notice a difference, but probably not. If the vehicle starts leaking more, it's going to be due to deterioration of the seals from age and mileage. So, have fun and switch it all you want, you could even try mixing it!!!

What's reputed to be the best conventional oil now

Survey says... Chevron Supreme, as long as Costco/Chevron keeps the coupon deal going.

SeaFoam through the fuel hole ?

I'm guessing you mean the throttle-body, yes, you're fine w/what your doing. But, I would scrub it down since you obviously want it cleaned, I notice a more responsive throttle after cleaning mine as it gets sticky w/carbon build-up. Just remove your air cleaner/filter box and have at it.

What are you listening to right now?

Cant get enough of the old Hank these days. This little guy is pretty good with an accordion (same song) I think he's in his twenties now?

    Do I need Synthetic?

Keep doing what your doing except... If saving money is a goal, you could start experimenting running longer OCI's. Or, keep your 5-6k intervals and run a 20wt "on-sale" dino. Either way, you should be able to keep the Squeakness going.

New Chevron Supreme SN data sheet

Just picked up a case of this at Costco the other day with a $7 coupon making it a $1.83qt. I saw this post and decided to check if I got the SN stuff. The case is dated 12/23/2010 and sure enough the bottles show it to be SN. Great oil, decent price. Hope this doesn't change.

    Best truck tire for MPG?

If you are realistically getting 2-3mpg more with the Michelins, I would make them fit into your budget. With that kind of an mpg gain and money being an issue, they would pay for themselves. I don't think you could go wrong with the Yoko's or whatever else you haven't run. You never know...
