Exactly. Mine had a tko500 and 4.10s, and was swapped to carburetor. It was unruly as all getout on 245 series Cooper Cobras, and I drove that hoker in the rain, to boot, lol!. My near 600hp ev is way more controlled.

Ah, but consider, you have a BMW and not a Crown Vic. "Practical" and "Impractical" are not divided for all, by the line of any one person's random musing.

New To Me...a car I never wanted.

A few transmissions ago, Id have agreed. Ive had enough inconvenience from that belief not to hold it further. I thought that way after the first one I killed like that. Then even after the Infiniti. But after the Jeep at 68k miles, I finally bowed to old school thinking, here---if the fluid is...

New To Me...a car I never wanted.

Ive been driving it for the past few days. Driving it doesn't make me feel sad. Im not overly protective of it. I don't feel bad driving it in any way. It was an important part of her life that I am happy to preserve sensibly (I wont be rebuilding the motor, for example), and its worth more to...

110k miles. 2002YM in 2011. Dealer told me to pound sand or pay 5k. G20.

Ive left my ev6 GT for 2 weeks before. It lost maybe 1% or so, but that could also be temp dependant.

New To Me...a car I never wanted.

I found some new air shocks...how do I know if the air pump motor is working? Would it be throwing a code if it weren't?

New To Me...a car I never wanted.

I've killed and damaged 3 transmissions doing that...Infiniti (catastrophic), Chrysler (Tq converter judder), and Ford (catastrophic).

    New Model 3 Performance released

Im curious about the handling, build quality, etc. If Tesla has fixed those issues, this is a killer product.

New To Me...a car I never wanted.

Currently it has Maxlife 5-30 in it. I am scared to mess with the transmission, as I have had horrible luck with them once you start swapping fluid, even for siphon fill. I will definitely keep the coolant issue in mind.
