I noticed the same thing in my liberty with the original edge (gold bottle).Engine was loud especially when cold, ended up leaving it in for 7k, replaced with PP and no more noise!

I used to use it a lot about 10 years ago and found it to be a good oil. I once left it in for a 17,000km oci with no issues!

I just bought one the other day, the guy at the parts counter said they were made by purolator.

I have a 2000 honda 15hp. I've been using amsoil in it since new, usually use the 0-40 small engine oil, but have used the marine 10-30, 5-30 ss and this year I'm gonna run 5-30 OE.

I've run both and honestly can't tell the difference and I don't think my engine can either! Both are good oils!

I am leaning towards just adding the 75-90 to the front and saving the 75-110 for the rear when it neads to be changed, it calls fro 75-140 for towing, so the 75-110 would be a decent comprimise between protection for towing and mpg when not towing, which is 95% of the time.

yeah, seems real short for synthetic! And why 6440 and not just 6500? In any event I would think it would be okay to leave in for 6000 miles or 10,000 km.

Going to try the oe in my 05 liberty with the 3.7 and 130,000 km on it. Wondering what would be a safe oci for it. Thinking about 10,000 km would be okay.

yeah I'm with ya on that one, don't think the 75-140 is necessary, found some 75-90 amsoil and will use that.
