Sure looks like the governor shaft has gone limp.

I bet it would throw snow like a mofo that way.. but not for long!

I forgot to ask you.. Can you get your fingers on the governor shaft to feel if there's any resistance there when she's running?

Maybe lock a little pair of Vise-Grips on the shaft for testing purposes?

I guess I could disconnect the throttle spring and use the lever to check for resistance.
