So i recently replaced the water pump, fan clutch and thermostat in my mazda b4000 due to a leaking water pump. After bleeding i let it idle for about 20 minutes with no problems at all but once driving around my neighborhood it slowly climbed to the hot whereas this has never happened before. I used an aftermarket thermostat in this case where there was a motorcraft one before which is my first instinct. Secondly i am wondering if the rtv i used on for gaskets could be clogging it up that bad? What do you guys think?
