Why does my engine feel so much smoother on mineral than it does on synthetic?

The engine feels smoother because engines run more quiet with conventional oil .
Fact, not fiction, the ones who doubt the OP most likely run only synthetic so have no experience to comment.

This isn't to say because there is less noise that there is less wear.

I have heard many times on these forums, certain engines feel and sound different on certain types of oils. For example, most Toyotas run the same on any oil if it's in the correct grade. Some Infiniti (Nissan) models will run super quiet on some oils and make a real racket on other oils. This is just what I have read on these forums, not my personal experience. I have not seen or heard any difference on any brand of oil in any of my vehicles, they all seem to run the same regardless.

I am a bit concerned that you can actually feel the difference in the way your engine runs using different kinds of oils, assuming they are all in the proper grade.
