I don't remember what grade of oils we used way back, unlike the OCD types here I recorded nothing. So interesting to see this ad for Castrol oils. I remember they had a sweet smell, and engines running Castrol had a coloured coating, not really cast as shellac, but you sure could tell a Castrol engine. All garages in NZ stocked Castrol....because Castrol held the license to import oil...they all got their oil here because of Castrol, no complaints allowed.

Looks cool. My favourite otc SN rated motor oil... Magnatec. Think it was even created by a Aussie! Think Castrol makes a good product. The GC was another green elixir that made the cut

i wish there is one bottle left of those oil and the picture attached here.

if there is at least one bottle left and we try it, does the additive still work well?
