Read All Gone?

Normally, when one's browsing one of the forums, one can see an "All" button to click on, to read an entire thread on one page (assuming it's not gone on for over 700 pages, which some have). I noticed it's not there today.

I don't recall ever seeing that here, but never looked for it either.

You can select "Print Thread" from "Thread Options" in the top left of the thread and that will open the entire thread on 1 page.

Just add /all after the thread's short address and it will show all posts ... seems to work on most of the newer threads when I tested it.

Example:

Becomes:
https://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/5033653/all

Well, it's a bit of both. It's clear that some people didn't use it or notice it (or want it), but I did. I'd use it sometimes when I saw a new large thread that I hadn't read before. I used it most when I had simply skimmed a thread before, then something caught my eye or I realized I missed something, and I wanted to give the thread a complete read again.

I'll have to try the ZO6 and blupupher suggestions. I probably used it once per visit.

You could also adjust the posts per page to 50. That makes most threads 1 page.

I really wish we had the option for 100 per page.

Yes, that's another good option. I just grouse about change at times.
