There's a place in town that sells Motul motor oil. They have two Dexos 2 oils in stock. The 5w40 meets MB 229.51 and the 5w30 meets MB 229.52. Also, for you hard core Thickies, they had 10w60 in ACEA A3/B4. Enjoy!
The store is Lordco Auto Parts. They have 100 stores in BC and for some reason they like to import Motul as one of their offerings. And yes, the non-sale price for most oil in western Canada is now over $50 Canadian ($37.50 US). I heard Oz has the same issue.
The ONLY places around here which have any Motul products on their shelves at all are a 'tuner shop' in Montgomeryville which carries the 300V line, and their brake fluids, and some (sort of) local crotch rocket shops in the Quakertown/Coopersburg area, which carry the bike spec stuff, and the brake fluids.
That is impressive that any retail place carries the 'regular spec', non-300V, auto oils on the shelf.
