Certainly seems a lot of rust about, including in the filter pleats, so the rain did a pretty thorough job of de-oiling, without washing the iron away.
Of course, one knows a lot of the black stuff is probably steel, but this illustrates it quite graphically.
If I ever do another oil change I'll have to try it.

Of course, one knows a lot of the black stuff is probably steel, but this illustrates it quite graphically.

Yep I was a bad boy and left them outside, hole up after they drained in the pan. I won't make that mistake again. The verbal lashings alone here are enough to make me not do it again!

Yes Duck, this size crosses to the 3593A, which I use on the Honda and Subaru since they are both the same. That way I buy fewer filter sizes.
