Have a pretty good amount of Harley 20w-50 oil on hand, any reason not to use it in a Kawasaki ZRX? Should not be any problems with clutch as Harley recommends it for their primary.

If you don't ride all year round, I don't see why not. Used a 10w50 in my R1 before, no [much] different than anything else I ever poured in there.

Oil is oil. I use Valvoline 10w40 White jug conventional in my daughter's Honda Rebel.
A air cooled engine and it shifts better than any motorcycle oil specific I ever tried.

I mix 20w50 and 10w40 in my bike. Help protect against shearing in the hot summer months on my sport bike's wet clutch.

I\ve used oils like that for many years in some extreme wet clutch machines without issue. Just never use "Energy Conserving" labeled.

check your manual, 20w-50 is a specified weight for the rex...not too thick at all.

it may start marking its territory tho with the hd oil, tho..

Won't the Harley oil make your Kawi run louder, rougher and slower ?? ....

LOL! In no time the Kawi will start marking it's spot....

absolutely nothing wrong with using Harley oil in an Asian metric bike! if ya feel straight 20w-50 is too thick you could mix in 10w-40 to thin it...

sitting on a gallon of Harley synthetic myself...I participate in a ride series each year hosted by a local Harley dealer & my name got picked as a winner last June; used my $100 gift card on oil & fuel stabilizers; the 20w-50 is too thick for the scooter & bike so gonna mix in some Kawasaki K tech 10w-40 syn blend (thought it was motorcycle oil when I ordered it...turns out it's OPE oil); it's wet clutch approved so it's ok for common sump bikes
