Went to my dealer the other day and found that they changed their production to Thailand instead of the Japanese ones.

Old one used to be PE01S

Is this for the 2/2.5 or 2.5T? Here's a link on the 2/2.5 Thailand made variant: Link.

I am surprised your dealer hasnt switched to the value line filters made in Mexico. The Thailand filters are very good. You should have no worries. My dealer has only the Mexico made filters now.

While I am sad I cant get a Japanese made filter anymore I have been using the Thailand filters and they are build just like the oem Toyota filters and are good. Not that youd notice a difference anyway.

Will a MC FL910 fit? I run that on my 2017 Fusion for 10K and they always look good.

I always liked the FU but they are extremely expensive in Canada. They wanted $14 each whereas OEM was $8.5

IIRC the Wix filters have been outsourced in the past couple of years
