Anyone use these? Every time I need a funnel their always super dirty with either dirt or sawdust. Usually the latter. I used to buy like 30 packs of three at the local auto parts store. Just called the two parts stores near me and nobody had a clue or even cared to look for it on the computer.

Are we talking about the throwaway paper cones? Iíve seen them, never used one. I stuff a blue shop towel through the spout of my oil funnel when not in use to keep the spout clean. The bowl can be easily wiped out when needed.

i use the same plastic one every time--and I put it in a ziplock bag, and store it in the same 5 ga bucket of oil change stuff, so I know exactly where it is when I need it--and it is clean. You might be able to get one at the local dollar store, for less than a pack of paper funnels.

I still use the plastic funnels for old oil and that kind of thing.

I had a pack of them from who knows where many years ago. I know they used to have them at gas stations at a cup dispenser like thing a long time ago also.

I do like SilverFusion though, I have 1 funnel that is my "clean" fill funnel, and after each use I cram a paper towel in it and it is stored upside down in the little tub I keep other funnels, filter wrenches and other oil change stuff in. It is always clean and I know where it is at.
I also keep a smaller funnel under my hood. I keep a blue rag stuffed in it inside a plastic bag. I rarely use it, but is there in case I do (actually last time I used it was on my brother in laws truck when he was low at the lake house).

Here's a list of distributors, including Grainger which oughta be easy in Houston. Also says Sinclair branded gas stations & truck stops

http://www.fastfunnel.com/distributors.htm

These look like more what I remember seeing in gas station dispensers.

https://www.freshwatersystems.com/p-9496...ves-of-125.aspx

Smaller quantities available here

https://www.pilotmall.com/product/Disposable-Oil-Funnel-10-Pack/aircraft-supplies

Personally I use plastic funnels wiped clean after each use with a disposable rag from Rags in a Box, stored in a loosely tied grocery bag for each. One for fresh motor oil, one for used motor oil, ATF, PS fluid, gear oil, etc., and one with a long skinny neck for fresh ATF. I carry a second long skinny neck plastic funnel in my truck so I can add any needed fluid cleanly but it hasn't been used yet.

Pal (a BIG luber at work) has always had a stack of 'em on his shelves.
We ALWAYS fetched a plastic funnel when the need arose.

He'd only use 'em with cheese cloth to strain paint.

Really, they were unusably small.

I've had all kinds of stuff put through my plastic funnels, how do you clean them to use for fresh motor oil?

I keep funnels dedicated for certain fluids.

I have the same orange funnel in the link I bought from Napa years ago. It is capped on both ends.

The paper oil funnels?
Yep, I remember them at gas stations. I guess we are showing our age.

Those were also the days when most gas stations had an auto service bay (or two).
