I found a couple old threads about this company/oil, but nothing terribly informative. It seems Total has a large presence in Europe, not so much here.

This is the oil we use at my shop as our "bulk" fill (5W-20, 5W-30, 10W-30). I normally run our next bump up, Amsoil OE 5W-30.

I got slightly concerned about pushing the Total much past 3,500 miles, but now after looking it seems the Total to be plenty good for 5k-7,500k. I only push the Amsoil to 5k, maybe 5.5 at times.

So oil gods, what say you?

SN is not really old enough to be "classic"
SJ is just about old enough.

I have had excellent performance running "plain dino" conventional oil to 5,000+
Syn-blend oils got to 10,000+ miles.
I'll run full synthetic to 15,000 and never bat an eye.
