REALLY Good Iron and aluminum numbers, especially for a new engine!

Wow, fantastic metal wear rate from a 9000 mi (Theta GDI?) engine from Hyundai.
Mainly hiway driving ?
Good candidate for increased OCI anyway.

Did the 0W-30 have any effect on your fuel mileage? (vs 0w-20)

Very nice wear numbers, especially for such a new vehicle. Strong TBN.

Enough said ...

option vs increased OCI is keeping on with this oil/OCI and ditching UOA

It seems peculiar that the wear metals are so low for such a new engine. What filter are you using?

Nice report.

Yea, 90% highway. Theta II GDI.

If so it was negligible. Im running an 0w20 right now though due to the cold temps and one thing I have noticed is the high pressure cam-driven fuel pump is much quieter now and it warms up quicker. All of which youd expect.

Same car...
Interesting, thanks for the observation along with the UOA. I've been using 5w20 except for a one time run with 10w30. I didn't notice any audible difference. Not to say you and others aren't more perceptive, that is most likely the case. That being said, my next run will be with AFE 0w20 since i want to stick to a 20 for the foreseeable future. Hope i hear/feel an improvement too. smile
