I Googled this question, no useful results.

Does anyone know the functional differences between polyetheramine and hydrocarbyl amine?

Why is there a need to know? Are they options in other fuel system cleaners?

Yes, some recent fuel additives have hydrocarbyl amine, something I'd never seen before. (Marvel, Lucas, CRC, 3M, Lubrizol, others)

These are similar in molecular structure to PEA's, except they are of the family "aminals" in which the amine atoms are bonded to the same carbon atom.

They find application as deposit controllers (detergent/dispersants) in both fuels and lubricating oils, depending on treatment level.

Reading is fundamental; understanding is not a given ability.

can you name the products in particular that use the hydrocarbyl amine?
