In pictures #2 & 6, did anyone else notice how "clean" the inlet holes are drilled into the baseplate? No excess steel protruding from around the inlet holes on the inside of the baseplate to cut the ADBV, unlike a Purolator's filter baseplate. Interesting!

I had used the 9688 on my civic a few times with no issues at around 5k. some folks cut them open at 7 k and they look good but I would not go over 7
