How about a quiet boat that runs on DC. You charge it from the generator at the dock when not in use.

There was something once (years ago) about one of the younger family members of one of the well to do families many years ago, who had made a quiet electric boat. I do not remember the family, the year, or the lake. I think it was a relative of Westinghouse, and it might of been at the Johnstown lake before the Johnstown flood but it was a few year ago that I saw that on one of the history programs on TV so I can't remember fore sure the details.

I will have pics in alittle bit, i will update when the project gets off the ground. These little guys run at 1200 on governor. Smothest / quietest engine i have seen, you can set a cup of java doesn't even ripple the surface.
