Old pennzoil bottle

I came across two old (i dont know how old) pennzoil yellow bottles 5w30. On it said, "with Z-7." Does anyone know what this means and maybe when this was advertised?

I remember the cardboard cans in the early 80's having that on the can.

Ya, I've got 2 cases of Pennsoil in cardboard cans. Both the 10W30 and 10W40 have the Z-7 on/in them.
